About AIPMT

In compliance with the directives of the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), Delhi, would be conducting the All India Pre-Medical/ Pre-Dental Entrance Test (AIPMT) 2015 for admission to MBBS/ BDS Courses under 15 % All India Quota seats except in the states of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Jammu & Kashmir in several Medical/ Dental Colleges of India. Applications are invited through Online only. The responsibility of the CBSE is limited to the conduct of the entrance test, declaration of result and providing merit list to the Directorate General of Health Services, New Delhi (DGHS) and participating States/Universities/Institutions. The counselling for successful candidates under 15% All India Quota seats is conducted by the DGHS. In 2015, State Governments/ Universities/ Institutions voluntarily participating in the AIPMT for using its merit list for admission in the Medical Colleges/ Dental Colleges against seats other than 15% All India Quota are Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Andaman & Nicobar, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Meghalaya, Odisha, Rajasthan, Chandigarh, FMS-Delhi University, AFMC-Pune, BHU-Varanasi, Jamia Hamdard-New Delhi.

Important Dates for AIPMT 2015

1. Date of Entrance Examination, AIPMT-2015: 3rd May 2015
2. Online Submission of Application Forms without late fee:1st Dec. to 31st Dec. 2014
3. Online Submission of Application Forms with late fee : 3rd Jan. to 31st Jan. 2015
4. Receipt of Confirmation page in CBSE without late fee: 10th January 2015
5. Receipt of Confirmation page in CBSE with late fee:  5th February 2015
6. Date of uploading of Admit Cards on website: 1st April 2015
7. Date of uploading of Admit Cards on website with late fee: 10th April 2015
8. Declaration of Result, AIPMT-2015: 1st week of June 2015 [05/06/2015]

Eligibility Criteria

The following criteria shall be followed to appear in AIPMT 2015

1. The Candidate should be an Indian National.
2. Minimum age of the candidate should be 17 years at the time of admission.
3. The upper age limit is 25 years as on 31st December, which shall be relaxed by a period of 5 years for the candidates of SC/ ST/ OBC category.
4. The Candidate must have passed in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Bio-technology and English individually.
5. He/ She must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks for General category (GC), 45% marks for General-PH and 40% marks for SC-PH/ ST-PH/ OBC-PH category in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology taken together in qualifying examinations.
6 No state eligibility criteria will be applicable for the students who take admission under 15% All India Quota Scheme.
7 Candidates from the States of Andhra Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir and Telangana are eligible to appear in AIPMT for admission in AFMC, Pune.

Note: Candidates opting for English would be provided Test Booklet in English only and the candidates opt for Hindi would be provided Test Booklet in both Hindi and English, i.e., Bilingual.

Application Procedure

How to Apply? A candidate can apply for the All India Pre-Medical/Pre-Dental Entrance Test (AIPMT) only on-line by logging on to www.aipmt.nic.in. Candidate should have scanned images of his latest photograph and signature in JPG format only, for uploading as part of submission of online application.

Mode of payment of fee-

1. Through Debit/Credit Card using on-line gateway payment facility, or
2. Depositing in CBSE Bank Account with Canara Bank or Syndicate Bank directly or depositing in CBSE Account with e-Post Office by downloading the Challan Form from the website of www.aipmt.nic.in.

Mode of Submission of Application Form-

1. Log on to website www.aipmt.nic.in
2. Go to the link “Apply On-line” and open the same.
3. Read the instructions and procedure for on-line submission of Application Form carefully. At the end of this page, following four links to apply online are given:
a. Fill in the on-line application form Part-I and note down the registration number.
b. Upload images of photograph and signature in JPG format at Part-II of the application.
c. Make payment of fee through Debit/Credit Card or download Challan for payment in the designated accounts of Canara Bank/Syndicate Bank/e-Post Office at Part III.
d. If fee is deposited through Challan, fill in the relevant columns of on-line application form at Part-III furnishing the details of fee deposited.
e. Take print out of Confirmation page(s) at Part IV of online application format to send to CBSE along with copy of proof of fee deposited, if fee is deposited through Challan mode.

The Application Form duly filled-in along with other documents, if any, should be sent to The Assistant Secretary (Exam), Aipmt Unit, Central Board Of Secondary Education, Shiksha Kendra, 2, Community Centre, Preet Vihar, Delhi - 110 092 by Registered Post/Speed Post only so as to reach positively by last date(s) of receipt of application form according to the fee paid.

The Application Form will not be received personally from candidates in any case. All other correspondence pertaining to conduct of examination shall also be made on this address.

Reservation of Seats

Reservation will be made as per following details in 15% All India quota:
1 15% seats are reserved for SC candidates
2 7.5% seats are reserved for ST candidates
3 27% seats are reserved for OBC candidates
4 3% seats are reserved for PH candidates
